Being the granddaughter of a baseball legend has it’s perks. Getting to go to a baseball game anytime she wants with her best friend, Kelsey Smyth is living the life. Finally finishing up her college degree she now has more time to watch her favorite pastime.
Moving from a small town in Texas to a big city like Washington, DC is a major change for centerfield phenomenon Johnathan Myers. He was handpicked by the owner of the Washington Warriors which has put a target on his back adding pressure to perform.
Kelsey and Johnathan meet, with help from a meddling older man. Quickly becoming the IT couple in town has put added pressure on both parties. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
Kelsey grew up in a baseball family her grandfather was a former player
and after retiring he bought the Washington Warriors Jonathan is a new player to
the team one that her grandfather thinks will be a great match for Kelsey. When
Kelsey's grandfathers health turns bad is she has to take over the team. She
backs away from Jonathan but Jonathan has his own secrets. Can the two of them
overcome everything to make a relationship work.
Love the characters in the story. Kelsey and Jonathan are
well-developed. There is some mystery, a little bit suspense. Overall
wonderful read. There are only a few sex scenes enjoy mostly just a sweet romantic book.
