Review: Unlawful Seizure

Unlawful Seizure Unlawful Seizure by Baylee Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tess knew everything about Max's case. She had read the files over and over. When her lawyer boss sends her to his parole hearing in his place. She thinks she has a good chance to get it granted. She never counted on being in the middle of a prison riot and escape. Max was guilty of murder and he never denied it. He planned on doin his full time. He had no remorse for what he done. Escaping prison that day with Tess in tow, he never thought of how his life would change.

I have to say I was torn on the book. I loved the story and the writing. I love alpha males and Max was definitely one of those. Yet at times he seemed more mean and nasty then alpha. Yet as the story went on, I started understanding him and his ways and slowly fell in love with him. Tess already had the hots for Max before they met. She believed in him. At times she seemed whiny and at times annoying but together her and Max worked. I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
